Mackenzie's Farm on Shetland have a beautiful flock of Shetland sheep from which Hazel and Kenneth have this yarn produced. Their family have lived and farmed their small croft for hundreds of years and continue the practices of their ancestors in one form or another. They have recently started to sell the wool from their flock, and Ginger Twist is honoured to be a stockist. Spun into a 4ply fingering weight, Aister 'oo' is ideal for colourwork! But if that doesn't take your fancy, it is suitable for pretty much anything and everything. Texture, lace, or just plain stocking stitch for sweaters, shawls, mitts and hats.
