In a flickering fire-bright colour, this crystalline lace pattern really shines. This simple, geometric lace stole is a pleasure to make and a uniquely wearable accessory.
Sizing
This stole measures approximately 14” wide by 80” long, depending upon how aggressively it is blocked. Both length and width may be easily adjusted, but this will change the yardage required. The stole may also be knit in any weight of yarn; simply adjust your needle size to suit, and work more or less repeats to achieve the desired width and length.
Yarn
490 yards DK weight yarn
Needles
US #7 / 4.5mm (or as required to meet gauge)
Gauge
19 sts and 23 rounds / 4” in lace pattern after blocking. The 6-stitch / 20-row lace pattern measures 1.25” wide by 3.5” tall. Gauge is not critical for this project, but a vastly different gauge will impact required yardage.
