Causal Nexus cowl is worked in the round as a seamless tube. The ends of the cowl are grafted together at the end to form a perfect ring. The charted colourwork section combines three easy stitch patterns and lends the project a rich heritage feel.

Gauge
26 sts and 32 rnds = 4 in / 10 cm in St st using 3.25mm (US 3) needles, measured after light blocking without stretching. Adjust needle size if necessary to get the correct gauge.

Needles and Notions

  • Size 3.25mm (US 3) set of needles for small circumference knitting in the round. The cowl can be worked on a short circular needle or a set of double pointed needles in the round, or on a longer circular needle in a magic loop.
  • Spare needle in the same or a smaller size for holding stitches while grafting.
