STRANDED COLOURWORK WORKSHOP 29 MARCH :: WITH PROSECCO, TEA & SCONES

£80.00

Join us in person at the beautiful 24 Royal Terrace boutique hotel for an afternoon of Fair Isle knitting, chats, prosecco, tea & scones on Sunday 29 March 2026 @ 1pm - 4pm.

In this workshop you will learn stranded colourwork knitting using Tin Can Knits Anthology cowl recipe. A great first project for those looking to try colourwork in their knitting. The pattern gives you the chance to experiment with different colourwork charts and colours which we'll explore during the class. Just choose your kit! The lounge where the workshop is to be held is spacious with high ceilings, funky artwork and plenty of space.

The workshops are 8 people maximum, so book along with a pal if you fancy!

Materials Required (not included in the kit, please bring with you or purchase from the online shop ahead of time)

  • 4.0mm & 5.0mm circular needle (40cm)
  • Stitch markers

Skills required: You should be able to knit and purl comfortably in the round.

Please do ask if you have any questions about the needle requirements or need guidance purchasing. And if you don't see anything you fancy kit-wise, please get in touch and we can put together something to suit your taste.

Whichever kit you choose will be waiting for you at the workshop. Please note that workshops and events are non refundable or exchangeable once your spot is booked.

24 Royal Terrace is an independent family-run boutique hotel situated in Central Edinburgh at the foot of Calton Hill. The hotel is nestled amongst the grand Georgian townhouses on Royal Terrace. The lounge where the workshop is held is on the ground floor. Please note the toilet is downstairs and is not accessible.

If you see the class is fully booked and would like to get on the waiting list for any cancellations or find out about the next session, please give us a shout via email: hiya@gingertwiststudio.com
