ABBEYHILL SHAWL

£4.50

The Abbeyhill Shawl takes inspiration from the repetitive nature of the Abbeyhill Colonies, transforming the rhythmic nature of doors, stairs, chimneys, windows, and blocks into a pleasing lacework pattern on this single skein shawl.

Knit in Ginger’s Hand Dyed Splendor 4-ply - a beautiful combination of Merino and Silk - with one skein, this shawl has all the shimmer and drape you could hope for.

This shawl was designed especially for the Colony of Artists festival held in the Abbeyhill Colonies in Edinburgh each September. Knit from the centre down, the garter stitch base sets off the rythmic lace pattern.
