A cute twist on a traditional Icelandic Lopapeysa featuring little fox faces on the yoke.
Corstorphine is worked from the bottom up in the round and steeked (cut open). The sleeves and body are worked separately and joined together for the yoke. There is gentle waist shaping for a casual but flattering fit in the adult version and short rows are worked in both versions above and below the colourwork on the yoke to comfortably lower the front neckline. The buttonbands are knit on after cutting the steeks.
Corstorphine is a printed pattern which comes with separate directions for adult and kid sizes, and a download code which has both. Note that there is some overlap in the finished chest measurements between the largest kid and smallest adult size. The kid's version has different proportions, no waist shaping, and is intended to be worn with more positive ease. For older girls you may prefer the adult version.
