This figure hugging jumper is based on a classic 1950s silhouette with subtle waist shaping and a flattering square neckline. Knitted in DK weight yarn this is a quick and easy knit - providing you with the basic skills to knit jumpers and a great introduction to vintage style knits.
Instructions are provided to knit the jumper either in the round or in flat pieces to be sewn together. A three needle cast off is used at the shoulders to create a neat shoulder line. The flattering neckband is worked in one piece using a circular needle with double decreases worked at each corner to create a beautiful neckline.
The jumper is designed to be worn with between 2.5-7.5cm (1-3in) of negative ease as shown.
Pattern includes 9 sizes to fit the following chest measurements: 76cm(30in), 81cm(32in), 86cm(34in), 92-97cm(36-38in), 102cm(40in), 107-112cm(42-44in), 117cm(46in), 122cm(48in), 127-132cm(50-52in).
